In 1996, on a dare, Mr. Ziskind, started MY CELLAR, a 6,000 sq ft off-site wine storage company. Originally planned for condo owners and people without enough storage space, clients rent lockers sized according to how many cases are being stored.

Presently MY CELLAR is running at 95% capacity. Although we were set up for condo owners, most of our clients have wine cellars; we store their over flow.

There are now 30 wine storage companies across the country. When we started, there were 6: three in California and three in NYC.
